Lufthansa Cargo has been working with Monika Lutz and Tammy Zwicki for over 15 years in the LAX gateway. When they opened Jet Airways 5 years ago, Lufthansa Cargo again awarded them our business.

In August of 2000, our headquarters office wanted only one transport provider per region within the United States. We issued an RFP for various transportation companies to bid on our business. Then in October of 2000, Lufthansa Cargo awarded Jet Airways the business.

Jet Airways manages all of the import and export trucking in all of our gateways, LAX, SFO, PHX, YVR, and SEA. They were awarded this business because they were the only ones who could maintain our very high service requirements at a competitive price.

They provided all of our FSU messaging to include RCS, FCF, DLV, NFD & DIS. Every week, we provided then with a performance report and the consistently score in the high 90-percentile range. Special loads: Jet is always there with a logistical solution.

In an industry where service has fallen by the wayside, it is nice to do business with a company that actually does return calls, does react quickly to our needs and does not take its customers for granted. We no longer use our time to follow the trucker and deal with those issues. Jet Airways has taken that over as a part of the contract. We are free to do the business at hand within our own facilities.
